THE COMPANY
Benso Foreste - the main business line behind Nalca Group - works in the Wood industry since 1985. They source, select the best wood, and then tailor wood to customers requirements
Traditionally being a company focused on providing best quality products, Benso Foreste achieved several certifications in the past 10 years, among which ISO 17725-4, ISO 17725-5 and FSC.
Benso Foreste is extremely careful on ESG topic as well - and the achievement of BiomassPlus A1+ is a perfect example.
THE PROBLEM
Benso Foreste had specific practices for managing its wood process, and they didn’t want to change those: quality was embedded in their way of working. Yet, this was never translated into a proper set of procedures compliant to ISO 9001.
In December 2024, Giovanni Canepa, main owner of the business, understood that being ISO 9001 Certified was a must-have for some of the main tenders in the field.
Giovanni didn’t want to change its way of working to be ISO 9001 Certified, but didn’t want to lose business opportunities as well.
THE SOLUTION
Benso Foreste was looking for solutions to be ISO 9001 Certified without having to adapt their business.

Running ISO 9001 Audit: finally, Complaion's ISO Lead Auditor ran the Audit in the platform and produced all relevant reporting.
External ISO 9001 Audit with Perry Johnson: Benso Foreste picked an international partner for its ISO 9001 Audit.
